Variances on access corridor and block dimensions. CALUP for steep slopes and wetland. The site borders Eastrail but does not provide a path to the trail, referencing a “planned Main Street Hillclimb project” instead (link)

Consent Agenda: Minutes from 8/13/26 (link), HR Report, Warrants and Electronic Transfers (Payroll $25.3M, General Fund $6.3M, Capital Projects $529k, and ASB Fund $36k), student travel to choir camp, and planned travel for competitions, qualifying events, etc. Change to 1400P policy on meeting recording/retention, prohibition on weapons, and extended speaking time for groups. Certification of completion of the Interlake HS Outdoor Construction Shop, Lake Hills Elementary Boiler and Chiller, and International School Boiler Replacement.
Public Comment 4:55-5:15pm Those who wish to provide public comment in-person or online may submit their request to make public comment (online or in-person) by 12:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to a Thursday school board meeting (link).
School Improvement Plans provide context for each school’s annual goals, with trends in student survey responses, absenteeism, test passing rates, etc. In the high schools, there are stats on college readiness, the seal of biliteracy, graduation rates, etc. There are details about the new and ongoing programs being implemented and the supports students and staff will be provided. It is also a place where schools celebrate the things that are distinctive about their students’ leadership and successes.
Transfer of territory from Renton School District to Bellevue School District - RSD and BSD teams’ joint recommendation is that the voters’ petition be denied. The territory in question is not delineated in these documents.
Vote on the BSD School Board calendar for the upcoming year, including study sessions, meetings, school visits, reports from various programs and departments, and time to discuss various focus goals. For instance, the Ed Tech Design Team is scheduled to update the school board on Jan 7, 2027.
