BelRed West Tributary Master Plan Kick-Off: Overview of the upcoming park planning and naming process for a new neighborhood park in BelRed. This planning process will be led by Parks & Community Services staff and a landscape architectural and engineering design team; the Park Board will serve as the primary advisory body for the planning and naming. The approximately 8-acre project site is located between 124th Avenue NE and 130th Avenue NE and will include trail and neighborhood park facilities. Over the next year, the Master Planning process will include feasibility studies, public outreach, sharing of design alternatives, and a board recommendation to council. This project will be levy funded, though no projected costs are listed here. The site includes fish-bearing stream and underground piped segments and includes the most difficult section of the Spring Blvd ped-bike connection. In the September 16, 2025 Council Consent Calendar, there was a professional services agreement with a company named Site Workshop for $501k to develop this master plan.
